Using a modified USB device an attacker can leak stack addresses of the `razer_attr_read_dpi_stages`, potentially bypassing KASLR. To exploit this vulnerability an attacker would need to access to a users keyboard or mouse or would need to convince a user to use a modified device. The issue has been patched in v3.5.1. Users are advised to upgrade and should be reminded not to plug in unknown USB devices.","references":[{"reference_url":"https://api.first.org/data/v1/epss?cve=CVE-2022-23467","reference_id":"","reference_type":"","scores":[{"value":"0.00034","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.10255","published_at":"2026-06-09T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00034","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.10353","published_at":"2026-06-06T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00034","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.1031","published_at":"2026-06-07T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00034","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.10226","published_at":"2026-06-08T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00034","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.1029","published_at":"2026-06-04T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00034","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.10334","published_at":"2026-06-05T12:55:00Z"}],"url":"https://api.first.org/data/v1/epss?cve=CVE-2022-23467"},{"reference_url":"https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2022-23467","reference_id":"","reference_type":"","scores":[],"url":"https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2022-23467"},{"reference_url":"https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer/commit/33aa7f07d54ae066f201c6d298cb4a2181cb90e6","reference_id":"33aa7f07d54ae066f201c6d298cb4a2181cb90e6","reference_type":"","scores":[{"value":"4.4","scoring_system":"cvssv3.1","scoring_elements":"CVSS:3.1/AV:P/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L"},{"value":"Track","scoring_system":"ssvc","scoring_elements":"SSVCv2/E:N/A:N/T:P/P:M/B:A/M:M/D:T/2025-04-23T13:53:10Z/"}],"url":"https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer/commit/33aa7f07d54ae066f201c6d298cb4a2181cb90e6"},{"reference_url":"https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer/security/advisories/GHSA-39hg-jvc9-fg7h","reference_id":"GHSA-39hg-jvc9-fg7h","reference_type":"","scores":[{"value":"4.4","scoring_system":"cvssv3.1","scoring_elements":"CVSS:3.1/AV:P/AC:H/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L"},{"value":"Track","scoring_system":"ssvc","scoring_elements":"SSVCv2/E:N/A:N/T:P/P:M/B:A/M:M/D:T/2025-04-23T13:53:10Z/"}],"url":"https://github.com/openrazer/openrazer/security/advisories/GHSA-39hg-jvc9-fg7h"}],"fixed_packages":[{"url":"http://public2.vulnerablecode.io/api/packages/488297?format=json","purl":"pkg:apk/alpine/openrazer@3.5.1-r0?arch=riscv64&distroversion=v3.22&reponame=community","is_vulnerable":false,"affected_by_vulnerabilities":[],"resource_url":"http://public2.vulnerablecode.io/packages/pkg:apk/alpine/openrazer@3.5.1-r0%3Farch=riscv64&distroversion=v3.22&reponame=community"}],"aliases":["CVE-2022-23467"],"risk_score":2.0,"exploitability":"0.5","weighted_severity":"4.0","resource_url":"http://public2.vulnerablecode.io/vulnerabilities/VCID-a18k-ag82-23h2"}],"risk_score":null,"resource_url":"http://public2.vulnerablecode.io/packages/pkg:apk/alpine/openrazer@3.5.1-r0%3Farch=riscv64&distroversion=v3.22&reponame=community"}
