{"url":"http://public2.vulnerablecode.io/api/vulnerabilities/78259?format=json","vulnerability_id":"VCID-nyrx-7v5c-sud2","summary":"EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to version 9.3.4, EspoCRM's built-in formula scripting engine allowing updating attachment's sourceId thus allowing an authenticated admin to overwrite the `sourceId` field on `Attachment` entities. Because `sourceId` is concatenated directly into a file path with no sanitization in `EspoUploadDir::getFilePath()`, an attacker can redirect any file read or write operation to an arbitrary path within the web server's `open_basedir` scope. Version 9.3.4 fixes the issue.","aliases":[{"alias":"CVE-2026-33656"}],"fixed_packages":[],"affected_packages":[],"references":[{"reference_url":"https://api.first.org/data/v1/epss?cve=CVE-2026-33656","reference_id":"","reference_type":"","scores":[{"value":"0.00105","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.28104","published_at":"2026-06-11T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00105","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.283","published_at":"2026-06-12T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00105","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.28325","published_at":"2026-06-13T12:55:00Z"},{"value":"0.00105","scoring_system":"epss","scoring_elements":"0.28317","published_at":"2026-06-14T12:55:00Z"}],"url":"https://api.first.org/data/v1/epss?cve=CVE-2026-33656"},{"reference_url":"https://github.com/espocrm/espocrm/security/advisories/GHSA-7922-x7cf-j54x","reference_id":"GHSA-7922-x7cf-j54x","reference_type":"","scores":[{"value":"9.1","scoring_system":"cvssv3.1","scoring_elements":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H"},{"value":"Track*","scoring_system":"ssvc","scoring_elements":"SSVCv2/E:P/A:N/T:T/P:M/B:A/M:M/D:R/2026-04-23T13:47:31Z/"}],"url":"https://github.com/espocrm/espocrm/security/advisories/GHSA-7922-x7cf-j54x"}],"weaknesses":[{"cwe_id":22,"name":"Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal')","description":"The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory."}],"exploits":[],"severity_range_score":"9.1 - 9.1","exploitability":null,"weighted_severity":null,"risk_score":null,"resource_url":"http://public2.vulnerablecode.io/vulnerabilities/VCID-nyrx-7v5c-sud2"}
